What's New In the Warehouse

Hey everybody! What's been going on in your lives? It's been a while since my last post and I know you're dying to hear what's been going on in the Peddler's Son Produce warehouse.

I hope everybody had a great Easter. Helen and I hosted a little dinner at her home for Easter. The food was great, as usual. We had a great time playing hosts. I also talked with my mom in California on Easter and realized how long I've been away from home. My goddaughter is growing up and I'm missing it, she made cupcakes for Easter. Last time that I saw her, she was so little. I miss my family but I think I've made Phoenix my home now.

I'm currently finishing up my last week of a class at the University of Phoenix. My final for the class is due this Sunday. No rest for the Produce Guru though, that next day, I begin two more classes; getting an education and working full time is a tiring process.

Doug has been off from work since last Friday and will be returning tomorrow. I guess he needed a little R&R. Paco and I have been holding down the warehouse without any major problems, a little teamwork and forward planning goes a long ways.

Bill Kroener, our Operations Manager, will be leaving us on Wednesday for a little surgery. We all wish him a speedy recovery with some good powerful drugs. While Bill is on the mend I will be trying to fill in for him. That's one of the great things about working at Peddler's Son Produce, everybody is very capable of stepping into other people's shoes. While I'm filling in for Bill, Paco and Doug will be stepping up their performance to cover some of my responsibilities.

We also have a new vendor for our mushroom line, Cardile Brothers. They have some of the best looking mushrooms that I've come across. If you appreciate a good mushroom, you'll appreciate a Cardile mushroom.

As always, if you have any produce related questions feel free to ask the Produce Guru...I'm here to help 602.253.3577 x113 or bridge@peddlersson.com.
